This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. We have written it in plain language on purpose.
Responder Republic is operated by Kigital Enterprises FZ-LLC, registered in the United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Name and email address | To create your account, send your receipt, issue your certificate and provide support. |
| Payment details | Handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number. |
| Course progress and results | To show your progress, issue certificates and let you resume where you left off. |
| Device and browser information | To keep your access working across sessions, and — for device-locked course licences — to prevent one licence being shared across many devices. |
| Approximate country | To show prices in the right currency and the site in a sensible language. |
| Usage information | Which screens and courses are used, so we can improve the product. Aggregated, not sold. |
| Messages you send us | To answer you. |
Each is a reputable provider with its own security and privacy commitments, and each processes data only to deliver the service.
Functional cookies. We use a small number of strictly functional cookies — to keep you signed in, to remember your language, to run your free trial, and to confirm your subscription or licence. These cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
Advertising measurement. We advertise Responder Republic, and we use the Google tag to measure whether those advertisements work. It sets cookies from Google that allow Google to recognise that someone who clicked one of our advertisements later started a free trial or subscribed. We use this only to judge which advertisements are worth paying for.
Through this we share with Google: the pages of our site you visited, whether you started a trial or subscribed, your approximate location and standard technical details such as browser and device type. We do not share your name, your email address, your payment details, your exam answers, your results or your certificates.
Enhanced conversions. Google offers a feature that matches customers using a scrambled (hashed) copy of their email address. We have deliberately not enabled it. If we ever do, we will say so here before it is switched on.
If you would rather not be measured, you can turn off ad personalisation in your Google account at myadcenter.google.com, block third-party cookies in your browser, or use your browser's private mode. Nothing in Responder Republic stops working if you do — measurement is not part of the training.
Account and certificate records are kept while your account is active and afterwards where we need them to prove a certificate was validly issued. Usage information is retained in aggregate. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time.
You may ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; or stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (for example the UK/EU GDPR), those rights apply to you and we will honour them.
Responder Republic is intended for working and training emergency responders and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Access to paid content and to any administrative function is enforced on our servers, not in your browser. Administrative access is protected by signed credentials, and sensitive operations are rate-limited. No system is perfect, but we treat your data as something we are responsible for.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app.
